At the end of February, I put out the call for people to share their stories of how black women have saved/impacted their lives for a photo project. 

This photo project is to specifically highlight black women during Women's History Month. Instead of celebrating the heroes in the history books, I wanted to honor and celebrate black women in our own personal histories.
