In 1920, the NAACP started flying a flag from the windows of it's headquarters on Fifth Avenue whenever a lynching of a black man in the US occurred. The words on the flag read "A Man Was Lynched Yesterday." It's almost 100 years later, and it's still relevant. Design for this shirt was by @kidnoble for #PureBlack
